Our Vision
To foster the growth and development of photography in East Gippsland Objectives East Gippsland Photographic Society is committed to improving opportunities available to the East Gippsland community. Help members develop their photographic skills and techniques. We encourage entering local, national and international competitions. Attending exhibitions and conventions. We aim to provide access for all members of our community. Competitions Club competition run every other month, by submitting photos to the MyPhotoClub website. Full members can upload two photos into the task section, one photo into the open section, and one photo into the print section (the printed photo must be submitted before the competition closes). The judge's constructive comments about the member's images are presented at a later Club Meeting. Field Trips Field Trips are organised on a monthly basis. Local excursions usually involve a few hours to a day, occasionally we venture further away requiring overnight accommodation. These excursions help members learn and improve their photographic skills whilst enjoying the fellowship of club members. EGPS has a private Facebook group providing members with a safe platform to share their photos and build confidence. Important information about the Club's program, workshops, field excursions, and competitions is also posted on the Facebook page. All financial members have access to the Facebook page. |
